Jaufré Darroux is a different harper, aware of his instrument's cultural origin, he began to study Celtic traditional repertoire, before he explored other musical worlds. Convinced that traditional music is first of all a state of mind, he has preferred to root in modernity and, enriching his Celtic musical universe with the influences of jazz and traditional music of India and middle-East, he's turned to composition and improvisation.
So that's real world music, a world where cultures communicate, exchange, join up to express a poetic vision of the earth, we would like the whole mankind to share.
